Refund Policy

Applies to: All diagnostic test bookings and services offered by Seralis Lab Diagnostics LLP (Seralis Lab)
1. General
Seralis Lab endeavours to provide high-quality diagnostic services. However, if you are dissatisfied or there is an error in service delivery, this Refund Policy outlines how refunds or adjustments will be handled.
By booking a test or service with Seralis Lab, you agree to the terms of this policy.
2. When Refunds May Be Considered
Refunds (or partial refunds) may be issued in the following situations:
- The test or service was paid for but could not be performed due to Seralis Lab's cancellation (for example: equipment failure, scheduling issues, or collection not completed).
- You were charged for a service that you did not receive.
- There was a clear billing error such as duplicate or overcharge.
- The test report was not delivered within the promised timeframe (unless an extended timeframe was communicated in advance).
- The test or service delivered was materially different from what was booked and agreed upon.
3. When Refunds Will Not Be Issued
Refunds will not be issued under the following circumstances:
- The sample has been collected and the test has been processed or the report has been delivered, except in the case of a documented laboratory error acknowledged by Seralis Lab.
- You change your mind after the service has been delivered or processing has begun.
- Delay or non-delivery of the report is due to factors beyond Seralis Lab's control (e.g. incorrect information provided by you, unavailability of patient, or external lab delay).
- You request refund for discounted, promotional, or bundled offers marked as "non-refundable" or "final sale."
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact Seralis Lab Customer Support within 1 day of the scheduled service date or cancellation notice.
Email your request to help@seralislab.com with:
- Booking/order number
- Patient name
- Date of booking or service
- Reason for refund request and any supporting evidence.
Seralis Lab will review and respond to your request within 4 business days.
If approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days of approval.
5. Amount of Refund / Adjustments
- In case of full non-delivery of service, a 100% refund will be issued.
- In partial non-delivery cases, a pro-rata refund or service credit may be provided based on the unperformed portion.
- Transaction or gateway fees already incurred may be deducted if they are non-recoverable.
6. Modifications and Corrections
If a report is incorrect due to Seralis Lab's error (e.g. sample mix-up or technical issue), Seralis Lab will either:
- Offer a free repeat test, or
- Issue a refund for that specific test.
Requests for correction must be made within 7 days of receiving the report and include the original booking invoice and report for verification.
7. Cancellation & Rescheduling by Customer
Before sample collection begins:
- Cancellation: Refund or credit may be issued, subject to administrative costs if applicable.
- Rescheduling: Seralis Lab will attempt to accommodate a new date without extra charge, subject to availability.
After sample collection or processing begins:
No refund will be issued.
After collection rescheduling requests:
May incur an additional fee or be denied, depending on logistics.
8. Terms & Conditions
- This policy is in addition to any rights available under applicable consumer protection laws in India.
- Seralis Lab reserves the right to amend this policy at any time. Updated versions will be posted on the official website and effective from the date of posting.
- All refunds are subject to verification and may take up to 10 business days for processing.
- Seralis Lab will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from refund or non-refund of services.
